Olympic National Park - Hurricane Ridge
11 - 12 Hours / Available year round if roads are open / Flexible departure time between 6 and 9am
Service Description
Home to the only rain forests in the Continental United States, the west side of the Olympic Peninsula receives up to 15 feet of rain in a year! Unlike the Cascade Mountains, the Olympic Mountains have no volcanoes and are made of sedimentary rock that used to be on the ocean floor and basalt lava that used to be an island off the coast millions of years ago. The Olympic National Park is one of the few places in the world where you can hike from a rain forest to a glacier in less than 20 miles. Hurricane Ridge is incredible! Of all the places we go in the Park, this is typically my groups most favorite! On this tour, we'll set a bearing for Port Angles and take the car ferry to the Olympic Peninsula and explore the popular destinations on the north side of the Olympic National Park and Peninsula. Price is for the group but does not include tax, meals or gratuity.
