At 14,411 feet, Mt Rainer is the tallest peak in Washington State. There is more glacial snow and ice on Mt. Rainier than the other 16 active volcanoes in the Cascade Mountain range combined! Home to the only rain forests in the Continental United States, the west side of the Olympic Peninsula receives up to 15 feet of rain in a year! Unlike the Cascade Mountains, the Olympic Mountains have no volcanoes and are made of sedimentary rock that used to be on the ocean floor and basalt lava that used to be an island off the coast millions of years ago. The Olympic National Park is one of the few places in the world where you can hike from a rain forest to a glacier in less than 20 miles.
Formed in 1968, North Cascades National Park covers an area of over a half million acres in the Cascade Mountain Range. With over 300 glaciers within the Park, see why the North Cascades are called the American Alps.

At 8363 feet in elevation and around 275,000 years old, Mt St Helen's is the shortest and youngest of the 5 active volcanoes in Washington State. But it's also the most active in the last 10,000 years. George Vancouver named the volcano for Britain’s ambassador to Spain, Alleyne Fitzherbert, also known as Baron St. Helens. See the aftermath of the largest landslide in recorded history and natures resilience as it fights to reclaim the land.
Whidbey Island, named for Joseph Whidbey, master of the HMS Discovery lead by British explorer George Vancouver, is the largest island in Washington State. If you like small town shopping and restaurants, beautiful scenery, and relaxing drives through the country, you will love Whidbey Island!
At 10,781 feet tall, Mt. Baker is the 3rd tallest volcano in Washington State. Named by George Vancouver for his 3rd Lieutenant Joseph Baker of the HMS Discovery, Mt. Baker has the second most glacier cover of all of the Cascade Volcanoes behind only Mt Rainier. Mt. Baker Ski Area averages over 600 inches of snowfall in the winter. In 1999, Mt Baker set the world record for recorded snowfall in a single season—1,140 inches.
San Juan Island, the second largest island in the San Juan Islands Archipelago, is a relaxing escape from Seattle any time of the year! The island offers a multitude of activities for visitors including whale watching, sea kayaking, hiking, history, museums, wine tasting, lavender farms, art sculpture, great food and more!

Snoqualmie Falls is one of Seattle's most popular destinations. Located just 30 minutes from Seattle, Snoqualmie Falls gives visitors a taste of the topography of the foothills of the west side of the Cascade Mountains. An interpretive trail drops 300 feet through the temperate rain forest to the river. Local hiking trails of all levels allow hikers to explore more of the area.
Just over 2 hours east of Seattle lies the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. It offers the perfect combination of eclectic small town shops, great restaurants, tasting rooms, and outdoor recreation year round! If you like small towns with a lot of character, Leavenworth is the town for you!

Since 1984, the city of Mount Vernon has welcomed visitors from all over the world to see the country's largest tulip fields. Nowadays, the Festival draws over 1 million visitors and offers many events, workshops and activities for kids! The Festival runs from April 1st - 30th.

Pickup and drop off anywhere in Seattle, Bellevue and vicinity.(hotel, business, cruise ship terminal, home, etc.) . I can also pick up and drop off at the Airport and take your luggage with us! I am available on short notice. I can typically arrive at your location within one to two hours of contact.
I am based in Seattle but I can arrange to pick up your group outside of Seattle within the Puget Sound region. (Additional fees may apply for pickups outside of Seattle and Bellevue)

From boxed lunches to fast food to restaurant dining, the choice is yours. When we plan your trip, I will go over the dining options with you so you can pick the best option for your group.I bring an electric cooler with us for items that need to kept cool.

Your Guide
As a hotel concierge, I've planned trips like these for guests for over 15 years. As an avid outdoors-man, I have been hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and exploring the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years with over 400 trips under my belt.
My goal is to provide memorable experiences for my clients. Once you see these places, hopefully you will return to the Pacific Northwest and see more of what Washington State has to offer.
For your safety and peace of mind, I am fully vaccinated and a certified Wilderness First Responder and have all required permits and insurance..
